Make sure you complete the pre-course work for the operator course prior to attending. Pass this along to those listed below from your agency so they can plan accordingly.

• EACH student will need to bring the items listed below to complete the training.
• You will need to go on the AXON Academy website and complete both parts of the training. Bring a copy of your Taser Annual User Update V24 certificate to class along with the platform your being certified on.
  • Taser Annual User Update V24
  • Taser X2 Operator Course Pre-work V24 OR
  • Taser 7 Operator Course Pre-work V24 

Please leave knives, firearms in vehicles, you can bring your duty belt, Taser holster, safety glasses and cartridges in with you for the start of the class. We will take an abbreviated lunch so bring what dietary needs you require to the training. The required equipment for the class is listed below. Any questions contact me directly.

• You will also need a blue/ red gun for your handgun for transition drills.
• Inert cartridges (red color) are needed for the training, if you don’t have them then please have spent cartridges on hand.

• 4          Live cartridges- black cartridges
  • If you have blue training cartridges for the X2 you can use them for the training.
• 2          Inert cartridges- red cartridges
• 1          TASER X2
• 1          Safety Glasses

TASER 7

• 4          Live cartridges (2 CQ & 2 SO) black or grey cartridges
• 2          Inert cartridges (1 CQ & 1 SO) red cartridges
• 3          HALT cartridges (1 CQ & 2 SO) blue cartridges
• 1          TASER 7
• 1          Safety Glasses
