Critical incidents are some of the most stressful and complex calls faced by officers. This class is designed to equip patrol officers with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively respond to these types of incidents. Through a combination of lecture and practical exercises, officers will learn to manage these high-stress situations, prioritize actions, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Topics covered will include:

• active killer,
• barricaded subjects,
• arrest/search warrant executions,
• and patrol response considerations.

This course aims to provide comprehensive training, normally reserved for tactical teams, so that patrol officers can successfully operate in these high-stakes environments.
