The Jackson Twp Police Department, New Jersey, will be hosting our Critical Incident Tactical Commander Training program. This program will incorporate classroom lecture and table-top exercises with major critical decision training practical applications geared to stimulate and educate Tactical Commanders, Team Leaders in charge of specialized units as well as strong beneficial education for Field Supervisors and Senior Tactical Patrol Personnel.  Areas that will be covered are but not limited to:

  • Development of the proper and “standardized ready” team
  • Critical incident response and managing scene operations
  • Development of tactical team Policies and SOP’s
  • Operational planning for any situation
  • Studies of multiple police critical incidents and classroom discussions
  • Special operation considerations for incidents such as: High Risk Warrant Service, hostage situations, rapid intervention team operations during active shooter
  • The importance of proper, safe and “real time” training programs for your personnel
  • Civil liability in tactical live operations compared to training situations
  • In depth review of civil liability as it relates to Civil Rights Violations claims and how to preserve your Qualified Immunity during critical incidents
  • Understanding the use of new assorted technology during critical incidents
  • Table-top exercises scenario training exercises
