Below 100 is a national officer safety initiative that aims to reduce annual line of duty deaths to below 100, a number not seen since 1943.  The United States has averaged over 150 officers killed per year in the last ten years. Together, we can bring that number to below 100.  We have identified five key tenets by which we can improve officer safety and prevent unnecessary Line of Duty Deaths: Wear your seatbelt; Wear your vest; Watch your speed; WIN! – What’s Important Now?; and Complacency Kills!  These areas are where each law enforcement officer can make a difference.   This is one of the most important Officer Safety training programs offered to law enforcement today.  Below 100 isn’t just about statistics – It’s about each and every officer, supervisor and leaders taking individual and collective responsibility for the decisions and actions that contribute to officer and public safety.
