SUMMARY:Radar Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:PRE-REQUISITE: ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE CERTIFIED RADAR OPERATORS FOR TWO YEARS \nThis three-day course will provide the sending agency with a certified instructor in Police Traffic Radar Operations\, who will then be able to certify and re-certify radar operators at the department level.  This program provides the student with the fundamental knowledge from which to conduct police traffic radar operator courses. \nTopics include: \n\nbasic concepts of stationary\, moving\, and same-direction moving radar;\ngeneral fundamentals of practical radar operation;\ndevice testing requirements;\nand legal aspects of radar operation.\n\nThis course is designed to deliver accurate and comprehensive speed enforcement training for instructors throughout New Jersey based upon case law and the Doppler principle.
