SUMMARY:Public Safety Drone Operations
DESCRIPTION:This training program is two full days and is designed to train police officers on how to safely and proficiently fly a drone within the National Airspace System.  The first day of training consists of classroom instruction which will include topics such as airspace\, weather considerations\, rules & regulations\, accident reporting\, insurance considerations\, airport/airfield operations\, emergency procedures\, preflight and maintenance\, loading/performance and crew resource management. \nThe second day of training will entail hands-on applications which will consist of basic flight maneuvers\, emergency procedures\, precision flying drills\, advanced maneuvers\, and search patterns. SUMMARY:TSA Explosives and Explosives Effects (E&EE) (TSA)
DESCRIPTION:The objective of this one day Explosives & Explosive Effects (E&EE) Training Course is to provide members of the federal\, state\, and local security\, and first responder communities the opportunity to receive training and information in regard to understanding explosives\, and explosive devices. The course will also cover topics to include terrorist trends\, improvised explosives device (IED) componentry\, construction and employment tradecraft\, as well as best practice safety information in regard to explosives and explosive devices. \nThe instruction is delivered in both classroom and outdoor range settings. Following an informative classroom briefing session\, attendees are given the opportunity to attend a Live Fire Explosives Demolition Range demonstration. The instructor led Explosives Demolition Range Demonstration session furthers the course objectives by exposing the students to a variety of commercial\, military and improvised explosives and mimic historical explosives devices. The demonstration allows the students to see firsthand key identification features of explosives as well as the destructive effects of explosives and explosive devices. The student will learn interview techniques to obtain information\, and to convince suspects to cooperate with law enforcement officers. DESCRIPTION:This course will teach you how to analyze any event data recorder (EDR) data you encounter\, regardless of the manufacturer. You will also learn how to analyze the EDR data which has been collected with any imaging tools\, including propriety manufacturer tools\, as well as from future vehicles not yet released. \nWe will teach you how to use EDR data with roadway evidence calculations to yield a complete reconstruction considering all available evidence. Simple checklists and guides will be provided to improve your consistency and accuracy. Supplied templates will take some of the work out of more complex analysis. \nYou will be given many EDR reports from real world crashes and will work in teams to analyze the EDR data and reconcile it to the scene evidence you are given.
